This will be a blog dedicated to old letters and pictures from my grandparents time.

About Dear Howard

Dear Howard is based on letters that were written to my Grandpa between 1919 and the early 1930's. It was a time when he was in search of a wife. The only letters I don't have are the ones that my Grandma wrote to Grandpa. They were buried with her when she past away in 1980.

I would also like to maybe some day find the families of some of these women and find out what happened to them.

I also have a number of pictures I would like to share with you. A lot of the pictures have no names or I don't know who they are. So If you ever see someone you know just let me know.

There is also the scrap book. I will share things from it from time to time. There are newspaper clipping that someone saved around 1936.

So I hope you come back often. You never know what will pop up from the past.
